The Garga-samhita Verse 5.2.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 2 (The Killing of Keshi) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तताड मुष्टिना तं वै
भगवान् मधुसूदनः
तस्य मुष्टि-प्रहारेण
मूर्च्छितो घटिका-द्वयम्

tatāḍa muṣṭinā taṃ vai
bhagavān madhusūdanaḥ
tasya muṣṭi-prahāreṇa
mūrcchito ghaṭikā-dvayam

tatāḍa—hit; muṣṭinā—with a fist; tam—him; vai—indeed; bhagavānthe Lord; madhusūdanaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; tasya—of Him; muṣṭi-prahāreṇa—by the puch; mūrcchitaḥ—unconscious; ghaṭikā-dvayam—for an hour.

English translation of verse 5.2.11:

Then Lord Kṛṣṇa punched him, and the demon was unconscious for an hour.
