The Garga-samhita Verse 5.2.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 2 (The Killing of Keshi) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

मा भैष्टेत्य् अभयं दत्त्वा
भगवान् वृजिनार्दनः
कटौ पीताम्बरं बद्ध्वा
हन्तुं दैत्यं प्रचक्रमे

mā bhaiṣṭety abhayaṃ dattvā
bhagavān vṛjinārdanaḥ
kaṭau pītāmbaraṃ baddhvā
hantuṃ daityaṃ pracakrame

mā—don't; bhaiṣṭa—be afraid; iti—thus; abhayamfearlessness; dattvāgiving; bhagavānthe Lord; vṛjinārdanaḥ—the deliverer from miseries; kaṭau—at His waist; pītāmbaram—the yellow garment; baddhvā—tying; hantum—to kill; daityam—the demon; pracakrame—went.

English translation of verse 5.2.4:

Saying, "Don't be afraid", the Lord removed their fears. Then, tightening the yellow sash at His waist, the Supreme Lord, the deliverer from troubles, went to kill the demon.
