उरु-द्वयम् तु रम्भोरुर् जानुनी त्व् अग्घ्रि-भेदिनी गुल्फौ रासेच्वरी पातु पादौ पाप-प्रहारिनी उरु
uru-dvayam tu rambhorur jānunī tv agghri-bhedinī gulphau rāsecvarī pātu pādau pāpa-prahārinī uru
dvayam—thighs; tu—indeed; rambhoruḥ—banana-tree thighs; jānunī—knees; tv—indeed; agghri-bhedinī—dividing the feet; gulphau—ankles; rāsecvarī—queen of the rasa dance; pātu—may protect; pādau—feet; pāpa-prahārinī -removing sins.
English translation of verse 4.16.9:
May Rambhoru always protect my thighs. May Agghri-bhedinī always protect my knees. May Rāsecvarī always protect my ankles. May Pāpa-prahārinī always protect my feet.
