The Garga-samhita Verse 4.16.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 16 (The Sri Yamuna Armor) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

उरु-द्वयम् तु रम्भोरुर् जानुनी त्व् अग्घ्रि-भेदिनी गुल्फौ रासेच्वरी पातु पादौ पाप-प्रहारिनी उरु

uru-dvayam tu rambhorur jānunī tv agghri-bhedinī gulphau rāsecvarī pātu pādau pāpa-prahārinī uru

dvayam—thighs; tu—indeed; rambhoruḥbanana-tree thighs; jānunīknees; tv—indeed; agghri-bhedinī—dividing the feet; gulphau—ankles; rāsecvarī—queen of the rasa dance; pātumay protect; pādau—feet; pāpa-prahārinī -removing sins.

English translation of verse 4.16.9:

May Rambhoru always protect my thighs. May Agghri-bhedinī always protect my knees. May Rāsecvarī always protect my ankles. May Pāpa-prahārinī always protect my feet.
