प्रेम्णा परमहंसानां
पदवीं समुपागताः
कृष्णानन्दाः प्रधावन्त्यो
व्रज-वीथिषु ता नृप
premṇā paramahaṃsānāṃ
padavīṃ samupāgatāḥ
kṛṣṇānandāḥ pradhāvantyo
vraja-vīthiṣu tā nṛpa
premṇā—with love; paramahaṃsānām—of the paramahamsas; padavīm—the path; samupāgatāḥ—taken; kṛṣṇa—of Kṛṣṇa; ānandāḥ—bliss; pradhāvantyaḥ—running; vraja-vīthiṣu—on the pathways of Vraja; tā—they; nṛpa—O king.
English translation of verse 4.4.9:
Filled with love, they followed the path of the paramahaṃsas. Filled with bliss, they ran along Vraja's pathways.
