The Garga-samhita Verse 2.24.33, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 24 (The Story of Asuri Muni in the Rasa-dance Pastime) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

नारायणाश्रमं प्रागाद्
बदरी-खण्ड-मण्डितम्
न ददर्श हरिं देवं
नर-नारायणं मुनिः

nārāyaṇāśramaṃ prāgād
badarī-khaṇḍa-maṇḍitam
na dadarśa hariṃ devaṃ
nara-nārāyaṇaṃ muniḥ

nārāyaṇāśramam—to Nārāyaṇāśrama; prāgāt—went; badarī-khaṇḍa-maṇḍitam—decorated with badari bushes; na—not; dadarśa—saw; hariṃ devam—Lord Hari; nara-nārāyaṇam—Nara-Nārāyaṇa; muniḥ—the sage.

English translation of verse 2.24.33:

When the sage went to badarī-decorated Nārāyaṇa-āśrama, he could not find Lord Kṛṣṇa in His form as Śrī Nara-Nārāyaṇa Ṛṣi.
