आकाशात् पतितः कंसः
किञ्चिद् व्याकुल-मानसः
यक्षं गृहीत्वा सहसा
पातयाम् आस भू-तले
ākāśāt patitaḥ kaṃsaḥ
kiñcid vyākula-mānasaḥ
yakṣaṃ gṛhītvā sahasā
pātayām āsa bhū-tale
ākāśāt—from the sky; patitaḥ—fallen; kaṃsaḥ—Kaṃsa; kiñcit—somewhat; vyākula-mānasaḥ—disturbed; yakṣam—the yaksa; gṛhītvā—grabbing; sahasā—suddenly; pātayām āsa—threw; bhū-tale—to the ground.
English translation of verse 2.23.19:
When Kaṃsa fell he was a somewhat disturbed. Grabbing the yakṣa Śaṅkhacūḍa, Kaṃsa suddenly threw him to the ground.
