The Garga-samhita Verses 2.17.18-19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 17 (The Meeting of Shri Radha-Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

प्रोच्छलन्ति स्फुरत्-स्फारा
यत्र वै मेघ-मन्दिरे
बालार्क-कुण्डल-धरास्
चित्र-वस्त्रा वराननाः
वर्तन्ते कोटिशो यत्र
सख्यस् तत्-कर्म-कौशलाः
तन्-मध्ये राधिका रज्ञी
भ्रमन्ती मन्दिराजिरे

procchalanti sphurat-sphārā
yatra vai megha-mandire
bālārka-kuṇḍala-dharās
citra-vastrā varānanāḥ
vartante koṭiśo yatra
sakhyas tat-karma-kauśalāḥ
tan-madhye rādhikā rajñī
bhramantī mandirājire

procchalanti—shining; sphurat-sphārā—very splendid; yatrawhere; vai—indeed; meghacloud; mandire—in a palace; bālārkathe rising sun; kuṇḍalaearrings; dharāḥwearing; citracolorful; vastrāgarments; varabeautiful; ānanāḥ—faces; vartante—are; koṭiśaḥ—millions; yatra—where; sakhyaḥ—friends; tat-karma-kauśalāḥ—expert workers; tan-madhye—in their midst; rādhikāRādhā; raj 24ī—queen; bhramantīwandering; mandiraof the palace; ajire—in the courtyard.

English translation of verses 2.17.18-19:

. . . and where there were many millions of glittering and expert gopī-friends, their faces very beautiful, their garments wonderfully colorful, and their earrings rising suns in a temple of clouds. In their midst Queen Rādhā wandered in the palace courtyard, . . .
