आनन्दो गोपिकानां तु
ह्य् आसीत् कृष्णस्य दर्शने
यासां येन विना राजन्
क्षणो युग-समो ऽभवत्
ānando gopikānāṃ tu
hy āsīt kṛṣṇasya darśane
yāsāṃ yena vinā rājan
kṣaṇo yuga-samo 'bhavat
ānandaḥ—the bliss; gopikānām—of thr gopīs; tu—indeed; hy—indeed; āsīt—was; kṛṣṇasya—of Lord Kṛṣṇa; darśane—in the sight; yāsām—of wehom; yena—by which; vinā—without; rājan—O king; kṣaṇaḥ—a moment; yuga-samaḥ—equal to a yuga; abhavat—became.
English translation of verse 2.9.58:
When they saw Kṛṣṇa, the gopīs became filled with bliss. O king, for them a moment's separation from Him seemed like a yuga.
