तत्-तद्-गोष्ठे पृथङ् नीत्वा
तत्-तद्-वत्सान् प्रवेश्य च
कृष्णो ऽभवत् तत्-तद्-आत्मा
तत्-तद्-गेहं प्रविष्टवान्
tat-tad-goṣṭhe pṛthaṅ nītvā
tat-tad-vatsān praveśya ca
kṛṣṇo 'bhavat tat-tad-ātmā
tat-tad-gehaṃ praviṣṭavān
tat-tad-goṣṭhe—to the various barns; pṛthak—variously; nītvā—bringing; tat-tad-vatsān—the various calves; praveśya—bringin ginside; ca—and; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; abhavat—became; tat-tad-ātmā—various; tat-tad-geham—various homes; praviṣṭavān—entered.
English translation of verse 2.8.6:
The many gopas, who were all Kṛṣṇa, led the various calves, who were also Kṛṣṇa, to their respective barns. Then the gopas entered their own homes.
