The Garga-samhita Verse 2.8.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 8 (Description of Seeing Lord Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तत्-तद्-गोष्ठे पृथङ् नीत्वा
तत्-तद्-वत्सान् प्रवेश्य च
कृष्णो ऽभवत् तत्-तद्-आत्मा
तत्-तद्-गेहं प्रविष्टवान्

tat-tad-goṣṭhe pṛthaṅ nītvā
tat-tad-vatsān praveśya ca
kṛṣṇo 'bhavat tat-tad-ātmā
tat-tad-gehaṃ praviṣṭavān

tat-tad-goṣṭhe—to the various barns; pṛthakvariously; nītvā—bringing; tat-tad-vatsān—the various calves; praveśyabringin ginside; ca—and; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; abhavat—became; tat-tad-ātmāvarious; tat-tad-geham—various homes; praviṣṭavān—entered.

English translation of verse 2.8.6:

The many gopas, who were all Kṛṣṇa, led the various calves, who were also Kṛṣṇa, to their respective barns. Then the gopas entered their own homes.
