The Garga-samhita Verse 2.4.25, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 4 (The Liberation of Vatsasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
मुरु-पुत्रो महा-दैत्यः
प्रमिलो नाम देव-जित्
वसिष्ठस्याश्रमे प्राप्तो
नन्दिनीं गां ददर्श ह

śrī-nārada uvāca
muru-putro mahā-daityaḥ
pramilo nāma deva-jit
vasiṣṭhasyāśrame prāpto
nandinīṃ gāṃ dadarśa ha

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; muru-putraḥthe son of Muru; mahā-daityaḥa great demon; pramilaḥPramila; nāmanamed; deva-jit—conquering the demigods; vasiṣṭhasya—of Vasiṣṭha; āśrame—in the āśrama; prāptaḥ—attained; nandinīm—Nandinī; gām—acow; dadarśa—saw; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 2.4.25:

Śrī Nārada said: He was a great demon who was named Pramila and was the son of Muru. After conquering the demigods, he entered Vasiṣṭha Muni's āśrama and saw a cow named Nandinī.
