भग्न-भाण्ड-स्वनं श्रुत्वा
प्राप्त गोपी प्रभावती
पलायितेषु बालेषु
जग्राह श्री-करं हरेः
bhagna-bhāṇḍa-svanaṃ śrutvā
prāpta gopī prabhāvatī
palāyiteṣu bāleṣu
jagrāha śrī-karaṃ hareḥ
bhagna—broken; bhāṇḍa—jug; svanam—the sound; śrutvā—hearing; prāptā—came; gopī—the gopī; prabhāvatī—Prabhāvatī; palāyiteṣu—fled; bāleṣu—when the boys; jagrāha—grabbed; śrī-karam—the beautiful hand; hareḥ—of Lord Hari.
English translation of verse 1.17.32:
Hearing the sound of the jug breaking, the gopī Prabhāvatī came. As the boys fled, she grabbed Lord Hari's beautiful hand.
