कंसो बकं सङ्गृहीत्वा
पातयित्वा मही-तले
कराभ्यां भ्रामयित्वा च
युद्धे तं विचकर्ष ह
kaṃso bakaṃ saṅgṛhītvā
pātayitvā mahī-tale
karābhyāṃ bhrāmayitvā ca
yuddhe taṃ vicakarṣa ha
kaṃsaḥ—Kaṃsa; bakam—the duck; saṅgṛhītvā—grasping; pātayitvā—threw; mahī-tale—on the ground; karābhyām—with both hands; bhrāmayitvā—spun around; ca—also; yuddhe—in the fight; tam—it; vicakarṣa ha—dragged.
English translation of verse 1.6.61:
Kaṃsa grabbed Bakāsura and threw it to the ground. As they fought, Kaṃsa grabbed it with both hands, whirled it around, and dragged it here and there.
