The Garga-samhita Verse 1.2.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 2 (Description of the Abode of Shri Goloka) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तद्-ऊर्ध्वं ददृशुर् देवा
विरजायास् तटं शुभम्
तरङ्गितं क्षौम-शुभ्रं
सोपानैर् भास्करं परम्

tad-ūrdhvaṃ dadṛśur devā
virajāyās taṭaṃ śubham
taraṅgitaṃ kṣauma-śubhraṃ
sopānair bhāskaraṃ param

tad-ūrdhvam—above them; dadṛśuḥ—saw; devāḥthe demigods; virajāyāḥ—of the Virajā river; taṭam—the shore; śubham—glorious; taraṅgitam—with waves; kṣaumasilk; śubhram—white; sopānaiḥ—with steps; bhāskaram—splendid; param—greatly.

English translation of verse 1.2.14:

Higher still the demigods saw the Virajā river's splendid shore, which was splashed by waves white as silk and glorious with many staircases.
