The Garga-samhita Verse 1.1.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 1 (Description of Shri-Krishna’s Glories) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

पूर्णः पुराणः पुरुषोत्तमोत्तमः
परात् परो यः पुरुषः परेश्वरः
स्वयं सदानन्दमयं कृपाकरं
गुणाकरं तं शरणं व्रजाम्य् अहम्

pūrṇaḥ purāṇaḥ puruṣottamottamaḥ
parāt paro yaḥ puruṣaḥ pareśvaraḥ
svayaṃ sadānandamayaṃ kṛpākaraṃ
guṇākaraṃ taṃ śaraṇaṃ vrajāmy aham

pūrṇaḥperfect; purāṇaḥancient; puruṣaof persons; uttamaof the best; uttamaḥthe best; parāt—than the greatest; paraḥgreater; yaḥ—who; puruṣaḥthe Supreme Person; paraof the exalted; īśvaraḥthe master; svayam—personally; sat-ānandamayam—full of transcendental bliss; kṛpāof mercy; ākaram—mine; guṇaof transcendental virtues; ākaram—a mine; tam—of Him; śaraṇam vrajāmi aham—I take shelter.

English translation of verse 1.1.27:

He is perfect and complete. He is the oldest. He is the most exalted of exalted persons. He is greater than the greatest. He is the Supreme Person. He is the master of the exalted. Of He who is full of bliss, who is jewel-mine of mercy, who is a jewel-mine of transcendental virtues, I take shelter.
