The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.4.53, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 53 of Madhya-khanda chapter 4—“Revelation of Nityananda’s Glories”.

নদীযায শুনি’ বড হরি-সঙ্কীর্তন কেহ বলে, ‘এথায জন্মিল নারাযণ’ পতিতের ত্রাণ বড শুনি নদীযায শুনিযা আইলুঙ্ মুঞি পাতকী এথায” ॥ ৫৩-০৫৪ ॥
नदीयाय शुनि’ बड हरि-सङ्कीर्तन केह बले, ‘एथाय जन्मिल नारायण’ पतितेर त्राण बड शुनि नदीयाय शुनिया आइलुङ् मुञि पातकी एथाय” ॥ ५३-०५४ ॥
nadīyāya śuni’ baḍa hari-saṅkīrtana keha bale, ‘ethāya janmila nārāyaṇa’ patitera trāṇa baḍa śuni nadīyāya śuniyā āiluṅ muñi pātakī ethāya” || 53-054 ||
nadiyaya suni’ bada hari-sankirtana keha bale, ‘ethaya janmila narayana’ patitera trana bada suni nadiyaya suniya ailun muni pataki ethaya” (53-054)
English translation:
(53-054) “I heard that in Nadia there is extensive congregational chanting of Lord Hari’s glories. Someone said, ‘Lord Nārāyaṇa has taken birth there.’ I have also heard that sinful persons are delivered in Navadvīpa, therefore I, being most sinful, have come here.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Nityānanda said, “I am afflicted with a burden of sinful activities. I have heard from people that Lord Nārāyaṇa has taken birth in Navadvīpa-Śrī Māyāpur and has inaugurated hari-saṅkīrtana. I am fallen, so I have come here to You with a desire for deliverance.”
