The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.13.109, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 109 of Adi-khanda chapter 13—“Defeating Digvijayi”.

সবারেই প্রভু করিলেন নিবারণ বিপ্র-প্রতি বলিলেন মধুর বচন ॥ ১০৯ ॥

सबारेइ प्रभु करिलेन निवारण विप्र-प्रति बलिलेन मधुर वचन ॥ १०९ ॥

sabārei prabhu karilena nivāraṇa vipra-prati balilena madhura vacana || 109 ||

sabarei prabhu karilena nivarana vipra-prati balilena madhura vacana (109)

English translation:

(109) The Lord, however, forbade them from laughing and sweetly spoke to the brāhmaṇa.
