The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.126, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 126 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

আজি গন্ধ পরি’ ঘরে যাহ ত’ ঠাকুর কালি যদি গা’যে গন্ধ থাকযে প্রচুর দুইলে ও যদি গা’যে গন্ধ নাহি ছাডে তবে কডি দিও মোরে, যেই চিত্তে পডে” ॥ ১২৬-১২৭ ॥
आजि गन्ध परि’ घरे याह त’ ठाकुर कालि यदि गा’ये गन्ध थाकये प्रचुर दुइले ओ यदि गा’ये गन्ध नाहि छाडे तबे कडि दिओ मोरे, येइ चित्ते पडे” ॥ १२६-१२७ ॥
āji gandha pari’ ghare yāha ta’ ṭhākura kāli yadi gā’ye gandha thākaye pracura duile o yadi gā’ye gandha nāhi chāḍe tabe kaḍi dio more, yei citte paḍe” || 126-127 ||
aji gandha pari’ ghare yaha ta’ thakura kali yadi ga’ye gandha thakaye pracura duile o yadi ga’ye gandha nahi chade tabe kadi dio more, yei citte pade” (126-127)
English translation:
(126-127) “Today You apply this oil and go home. If after taking bath tomorrow the fragrance still remains, then You may pay me whatever You like.”
