Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda
(By Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī himself including a deep purport of that commentary)
Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s prāṇa-priya sakhā Arjuna is more precious than life itself to Him, or else Arjuna’s friend, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, is more precious to him than life itself. In such a manner, Arjuna who is śrīmān (endowed with all beauty and splendor) began to speak with a troubled heart and long and heavy sighs while recollecting the cruelty of his friend.
