tatra hetumāha brahmaṇo hīti | hi yasmādbrahmaṇo'haṃ pratiṣṭhā pratimā | ghanībhūtaṃ brahmaivāham | yathā ghanībhūtaḥ prakāśa eva sūryamaṇḍalaṃ tadvadityarthaḥ | tathāvyayasya nityasya | amṛtasya mokṣasya ca nityamuktatvāt | tathā tatsādhanasya śāśvatasya dharmasya ca śiddjasattvātmakatvāt | tathaikāntikasya akhaṇḍitasya sukhasya ca pratiṣṭhāham | paramānandaikrūpatvāt | ato matsevino madbhāvasyāvaśyambhāvitvādyuktamevoktaṃ brahmabhūyāya kalpata iti ||
kṛṣṇādhīnaguṇāsaṅgaprasañjitabhavāmbudhim |
sukhaṃ tarati madbhakta ityabhāṣi caturdaśe ||

atra hetumāha brahmaṇa iti | brahmaṇastatpadavācyasya sopādhikasya jagadutpattisthitilayahetoḥ pratiṣṭhā pāramārthikaṃ nirvikalpalpakaṃ saccidānandātmakaṃ nirupādhikaṃ tatpadalakṣyamahaṃ nivikalpako vāsudevaḥ pratitiṣṭhatyatreti pratiṣṭhā kalpitarūparahitamakalpitaṃ rūpam | ato yo māmupādhikaṃ brahma sevate sa brahmabhūyāya kalpata iti yuktameva |
kīdṛśasya brahmaṇaḥ pratiṣṭhāhamityākāṅkṣāyāṃ viśeṣaṇāni amṛtasya vināśarahitasya, avyayasya vipariṇāmarahitasya ca, śāśvatasyāpakṣayarahitasya ca, dharmasya jñānaniṣṭhālakṣaṇadharmaprāpyasya, sukhasya paramānandarūpasya | sukhasya viṣayendriyasaṃyogajatvaṃ vārayati aikāntikasyāvyabhicāriṇaḥ sarvasmin deśe kāle ca vidyamānasyaikāntikasukharūpasyetyarthaḥ | etādṛśasya brahmaṇo yasmādahaṃ vāstavaṃ svarūpaṃ tasmānmadbhaktaḥ saṃsārānmucyata iti bhāvaḥ | tathā coktaṃ brahmaṇā bhagavantaṃ śrīkṛṣṇaṃ prati

sarveṣāmeva kāryavastūnāṃ bhāvārthaḥ sattārūpaḥ paramārtho bhavati kāryākāreṇa jāyamāne sopādhike brahmaṇi sthitaḥ kāraṇasattātiriktāyāḥ kāryasattāyā anabhyupagamāt | tasyāpi bhavataḥ kāraṇasya sopādhikasya brahmaṇo bhāvārthaḥ sattārūpo'rtho bhagavān kṛṣṇaḥ sopādhikasya nirupādhike kalpitatvātkalpitasya cādhiṣṭhānānatirekāt, bhagavataḥ kṛṣṇasya ca sarvakalpanādhiṣṭhānatvena paramārthasatyanirupādhibrahmarūpatvāt | ataḥ kimatadvastu tasmācchrīkṛṣṇādanyadvastu paramārthikaṃ kiṃ nirūpyatāṃ tadevaikaṃ paramārthikaṃ nānyatkimapītyarthaḥ | tadetadihāpy

nanu madbhaktānāṃ kathaṃ nirguṇabrahmatvaprāptiḥ ? sā tu advitīyatadekānubhavenaiva sambhavet | tatrāha brahmaṇo hīti | hi yasmātparamapratiṣṭhātvena prasiddhaṃ yadbrahma tasyāpyahaṃ pratiṣṭhā pratiṣṭhīyate'sminniti pratiṣṭhā āśrayo'nnamayādiṣu śrutiṣu sarvatraiva pratiṣṭhāpadasya tathārthatvāt | tathāmṛtasya pratiṣṭhā kiṃ svargīyasudhāyāḥ ? na | avyayasya nāśarahitasya mokṣasyetyarthaḥ | tathā śāśvatasya dharmasya sādhanaphaladaśayorapi nityasthitasya bhaktyākhyasya paramadharmasyāhaṃ pratiṣṭhā, tathā tatprāpyasyaikāntikabhaktasambandhinaḥ sukhasya premṇaś

nanu tadvivekakhyātyā tvadekabhaktyā ca guṇātīto labdhasvarūpo brahmaśabdito muktaḥ kathaṃ tiṣṭhediti cettatrāha brahmaṇo hīti | hirniścaye | brahmaṇastatpūrvakayā tayā sattvādyāvaraṇātyayādāvirbhāvitasvaguṇāṣṭakasyāmṛtasya mṛitirnirgatasyāvyayasya tādrūpyaṇaikarasasya muktasya madatipriyasyāhameva vijñānānandamūrtiranantaguṇo niravadyaḥ suhṛtatamaḥ sarveśvaraḥ | pratiṣṭhā pratiṣṭhīyate'tra iti nirukteḥ paramāśrayo'tipriyo bhavāmīti tādṛśaṃ māṃ parayā bhaktyānubhavaṃstiṣṭhatīti | na matto viśleṣaleśo na ca punarāvartate, yadgatvā na nivartante muktānāṃ paramā gatiḥ iti smṛtibhyaḥ |
nanu muktastvāṃ kathaṃ śrayeta śravaṇaphalasya mukterlābhāditi cedastyatiśayitaṃ phalamiti bhāvenāha śāśvatasya sādhāraṇasya sukhasya ca vicitralīlārasasyāhameva pratiṣṭheti | tīvrānandarūpatadvibhūtimallīlānubhavāya māmeva samāśrayatītyevamāha śrutiḥ raso vai saḥ, rasaṃ hyevāyaṃ labdhvānandī bhavati [TaittU 2.7.1] iti ||27||
saṃsāro guṇayogaḥ syādvimokṣastu guṇātyayaḥ |
tatsiddhirharibhaktyaivetyetadbuddhaṃ caturdaśāt ||
