Description of the photo

A lady standing with an offering in a plate. She is having a huge bun on top of her head. She is standing in Ayata Sthana, in Abhanga posture, her Siras and Urah are in Sama, her Parsva is unbent, her Kati is in Udvahita on the right side. Right leg is at ease, right Pada is in Sama and Tryasra. Left leg is straight and unbent. Left Pada is also in Sama. We can observe the huge earrings necklace and bracelets again confirming the finesse in making of sculptures by the Cholas. The fine creases in her dress and the delicate lines in her feet brings out the expertise in Chola sculpting.
