A mode of construing a verse in which the words are taken in their order without any transposition to yield the intended meaning, one of the eight poruḷ-kōḷ, q.v.; எண்வகைப் பொருள்கோளில் சொற்களை முன்பின்னாக மாற்றாமல் நேராகவே பொருள் கொள்ளுமுறை.
