Vivecya (विवेच्य) refers to “having discerned”, according to the 11th century Jñānārṇava, a treatise on Jain Yoga in roughly 2200 Sanskrit verses composed by Śubhacandra.—Accordingly, “Having discerned [vivicya; var.: vivecya] that [action] to be done by this human body which produces purity in both worlds, action in a manner different from this is to be abandoned”.
