Vīracakreśvara (वीरचक्रेश्वर) refers to the “master of the circle of heroes”, according to the Yoginīhṛdaya (one of the principal works of Tantric Hinduism).—Accordingly, “I will now tell you the divine presence of [Śiva and the Goddess embodied] in the mantra. Whoever knows this becomes, like Tripurā, master of the circle of heroes (vīracakreśvara)”.
