Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryvipatara (विपतर).—a (Vulgar.) Mischievous, vitious, naughty; or ill-tempered, ill-formed, idiotic &c. The word is employed revilingly or scoldingly against children without much exactitude or definiteness of idea. It is derived probably from viparīta Contrary, or pitara Ancestral manes.
