Vipaḍumaka (विपडुमक).—(vi-paḍumaka), or vipaṭumaka, nt., a corpse destroyed by worms (so Tibetan on Mahāvyutpatti 1158): Gaṇḍavyūha 157.16 vipaṭ°; -saṃjñā, contemplation of the notion of such a corpse, one of the aśubha-bhāvanā (q.v.) or -saṃjñā: Mahāvyutpatti 1158 vipaḍ°; Bhikṣuṇī-karmavācanā 27a.2 vipaṭ°. Also vipaṭumuka, Mūla-Sarvāstivāda-Vinaya iii.54.11; vipaṭmaka, Śikṣāsamuccaya 211.1; and (corruptly) vipadāka- Śatasāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā 59.4; niruttamaka-(!) Śatasāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā 1258.6.
