Vigrāhin (विग्राहिन्).—grasping, laying hold of (Tibetan ḥdzin): svacit-tārtha-vigrāhiṇah Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra 374.6 (verse), app. seizing (appre- hending?) the objects of one's own mind (? no subject ex- pressed in the verse; Suzuki supplies all things; he renders otherwise and implausibly); °hiṇaḥ may also be gen. sg., for one who apprehends… Or perhaps seduced by (compare vigrā- hayati)? Tibetan ḥdzin, lit. seize, also to be taken in,…cap- tivated, as by sin (Jäschke (Tibetan-English Dictionary)). One Chin. rendering (misprinted in Suzuki's Index) means bind (as with ropes).
