vēḷaṇēvāracā (वेळणेवारचा).—ad decl vēḷaṇēvārī ad (Anomalous formations with vēḷa & vāra both signifying Time or season, and with the copulative āṇi) Of (belonging to, depending on &c.) times and periods; (Time being considered as bearing a nature good or evil, and as swaying and modeling accordingly the quality of speech or action;) at or in a time or juncture so viewed;--a matter spoken or done. Used esp. upon occasion of sayings or acts of which the connection with Time and swayedness by it is held to be evil. Ex. vēḷaṇēvāracā ugāca tū bōmbalatōsa kāya mhaṇūna. They correspond well with the Hindustani phrase
