Source: What is India: Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy (1945-1952)Urachintala is an archaeologically important site situated in Tadpatri-taluk (Anantapur district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Urachintala there is a damaged stone in the village which seems to state that Sādutullā Asārī Handammīyā Sāhebu granted Ūrachintala for the, settlement of certain families.
This inscriptions is dated Śaka 1627 (1704 A.D., July 10).
