Source: Wisdom Library: Maha Prajnaparamita SastraTṛṣṇāpatita (तृष्णापतित) refers to “those that depend on craving” and represents a type of bond (bandhana) according to Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra chapter 13. It is part of a classification of two types of bandhana, the other being “those that depend on wrong views (dṛṣṭipatita)”.
Mahayana (महायान, mahāyāna) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings).
