Toṇṭaimāṉ (தொண்டைமான்) [toṇṭai-māṉ] noun < தொண்டை². [thondai².]

1. Ruler of Toṇṭaimaṇṭalam; தொண்டைமண்டல அரசன். தொண்டைமா னுழைச் சென்ற ஔவைக்கு [thondaimandala arasan. thondaima nuzhais senra auvaikku] (புறநானூறு [purananuru] 95, குறிப்பு [kurippu]).

2. Title of the Raja of Pudukota; புதுக்கோட்டையரசர் பட்டப்பெயர். [puthukkottaiyarasar pattappeyar.]
