Saṃśayākṣepa (संशयाक्षेप).—a particular figure of speech ('removal of doubt'); किमयं शरदम्भोदः किंवा हंसकदम्बकम् । रुतं नूपुरसंवादि श्रूयते तन्न तोयदः ॥ इत्ययं संशयाक्षेपः संशयो यन्निवार्यते (kimayaṃ śaradambhodaḥ kiṃvā haṃsakadambakam | rutaṃ nūpurasaṃvādi śrūyate tanna toyadaḥ || ityayaṃ saṃśayākṣepaḥ saṃśayo yannivāryate) | Kāv.2.163-4.
