Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryphiṭaṇēṃ (फिटणें).—v i To get loose; to come undone--a fastened garment, a lugaḍēṃ, dhōtara &c., and, sometimes, a knot or tie. 2 fig. To be removed or cleared away--a debt by payment, a favor or injury by requital, a doubt by solution, a vow, promise, oath by performance. Pr. śērāsa savā śēra bhēṭē manacā saṃśaya phiṭē.
