Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryphaṇakūṭa (फणकूट).—n A contemptuous form of phaṇī for a coarse-toothed or rude comb,--rake of a comb. Ex. āṇā pha0 ghālūṃ dyā vēṇakūṭa jāūṃ dyā sūnakūṭa māhērāṃ Hand over the rake (i.e. comb); twist up her tail (i.e. hair-braid); and let this hussey of a daughter-in-law go home to her mother's. A morsel from the vocabulary of sāsū in her parlance with sūna.
