See phaṭasūḷa. 2 In angry and loose phraseology, applied, with the import of such words as Vile, poor, lean, meagre, wretched, good-for-nothing, to a country, land, soil--to mulūka- rāna-śēta-jamīna-bhuī &c. Of this general sense Unproductive or worthless is the term phaḍasūḷavikarī Sale of a few mean miscellanies or non-descripts, a miserable sale. 3 As opposed to kuḍatāḷa &c., and applied to land, it has the import of (Loose or free) ample, flowing, full, liberal, lavish, large, i.e. greater when actually measured than the account or estimate of it.
