Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarypavaṇēṃ (पवणें).—v i (Poetry. For pāvaṇēṃ) To obtain or attain; to get or reach unto. Ex. harīviṇa saujanya na pavē kōṇhī ||; also nāmāsi vinmukha tō nara pāpīyā || harīviṇa dhāvayā na pavē kōṇhī ||.

pāvaṇēṃ (पावणें).—v c & i (prāpaṇa S) To conduct or convey to; to cause to reach or to be delivered (a person or a thing). 2 To reach or attain, lit. fig. (a place, a state, a period of life). Ex. mī gāṃvāsa sandhyā- kāḷīṃ pāvalōṃ; hā vṛddhatva pāvalyāmuḷēṃ badhiratva pāvalā. 3 To receive, obtain, get. 4 In. con. To come to hand; to be received by. Ex. māgīla karjāpaikīṃ kāya tulā pāvalēṃ tēṃ sāṅga. 5 To be attained and enjoyed by; to be found by;--used of the Deity or his favor by a worshiper or a creature. 6 To come home to; to reach as pertaining or appropriate to. Ex. hī gōṣṭa malā pāvalī This matter or business is mine. 7 To find occasion or room for; to find liberty or scope for; to be able. Ex. tulā dōna kāṭhyā ragaḍūna lāvalyā mhaṇajē tū hāsūṃ pāvaṇāra nāhīṃsa. In this sense, To be able, pāvaṇēṃ is more idiomatic than śakaṇēṃ.
