Paryutsuka (पर्युत्सुक).—a.

1) Sorrowful, sorry, regretting, sad; °त्वम् (tvam) sorrow; R.5.67; पर्युत्सुकीभवति यत् सुखितोऽपि जन्तुः (paryutsukībhavati yat sukhito'pi jantuḥ) Ś.5.2 (v. l.).

2) Eagerly desirous, anxious, anxiously longing for; स्मर पर्युत्सुक एष माधवः (smara paryutsuka eṣa mādhavaḥ) Kumārasambhava 4.28; V.2.16.

3) Agitated, excited; मुहूर्तं पर्युत्सुकमना आसीत् (muhūrtaṃ paryutsukamanā āsīt) Ś.6.
