2) Nigāha (निगाह) [Also spelled nigah]:—(nf) look, glance; sight, vision; —[dauḍānā] to cast a hurried glance, to see through hurriedly; —[phiranā] to have a change of attitude (from good to bad); —[rakhanā] to keep an eye on, to keep a guard/watch; —[se utara jānā/gira jānā] to suffer devaluation in the eyes of, to be lowered in one’s esteem; —[se cūkanā] to pass through oversight; [nigāheṃ cāra honā] to look into each other’s eyes, to exchange glances.
