It is then (without irony) supposed to go to sleep. 1 Kings xviii. 27. 2 The outer sheet of a manuscript book, the fly-leaf. 3 A cloth to wipe the face. 4 The wrapping cloth of a book already covered up with a cloth. 5 The name of the upper paper of a packet of papers. The word mukhavastra is usually written upon it.
