Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarymōkaḷa (मोकळ).—f (mōkaḷā) A quantity (as of kaḍabā, hay, sticks, flowers, beads &c., of raw sugar, flour &c.) lying loosely; i. e. not made up into bundles, bunches, wreaths, balls, masses, or fallen asunder from bundles &c.: also such loose and scattered state. 2 Liquidation (of a debt); clearing or cleared state. 3 Opening up or loosening (of bundles, bunches, parcels, packets): also opened, loosened, or loose state. 4 Vulgar. Liberty, leave granted: also emancipation; freeing or freed state in general.
