Mahāsudarśanayantralakṣaṇa (महासुदर्शनयन्त्रलक्षण) (lit. “design for the great sudarśana-yantra”) is the name of the twenty-sixth chapter of the Ahirbudhnyasaṃhitā, a Pāñcarātra work in 60 chapters dealing with topics such as Viṣṇu’s discus-power, the processes of creation and esoteric practices related to Sudarśana (such as mantras and yantras).—Description of the chapter [mahāsudarśanayantralakṣaṇa]: Nārada wants to know more about this potent Sudarśanayantra. He is told that it may be fashioned on any one of several kinds of material, and that the design itself will follow certain conventions (1-13).
