Madanpārā is an archaeologically important site situated in Faridpur District (Bangladesh), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Madanpārā there is a Sanskrit inscription which is issued from Phaspha-grāma. It  records a grant of land in the village of Piñjokāṣṭhi, situated in Pauṇḍravardhana bhukti in Vikramapura-bhāga of Vaṅga, made by the king in the month of Bhādra to the Brāhmaṇa Viśvarūpadeva śarman. Mahāsāndhivigrahika Kopiviṣṇu is mentioned as the dūta of the grant.
