Kāśyapa, the legendary sage was an accomplished scholar in the Vedas, Āyurveda, Dharmaśāstra, Śilpaśāstra, Kṛṣivijñāna (Agricultural Science), Saṅgītaṣāstra and so on.
Āyurveda (आयुर्वेद, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics.
