Kapittam (கபித்தம்) noun < kapittha.

1. Wood-apple. See விளா. (பிங்கலகண்டு) [vila. (pingalagandu)]

2. (Nāṭya.) A gesture with one hand in which the tips of the thumb and of the forefinger are closely joined while the other three fingers are held loose, one of 33 iṇaiyā-viṉai-k-kai, q.v.; சுட்டு விரல்நுனியும் பெருவிரல் நுனியும் உகிர்நுனைகௌவ ஒழிந்த மூன்றுவிரலும் மெல்லெனப்பிடிக்கும் இணை யாவினைக்கை.
