jhimparī (झिंपरी).—f A loose tress of hair. 2 fig. A slovenly and loose woman; a malkin, slut, drotchel, drab. Pr. caṭṭīpaṭṭīcē bōbhāṭē jhiṃ0 mārī jhapāṭē The outcry is all upon the woman wlio dresses and adorns herself: meanwhile, the slut may wanton and whore without suspicion.
