Hasarata (हसरत) [Also spelled hasrat]:—(nf) wistfulness, longing, craving; desire; ~[maṃda] having a longing/craving, desirous; -[bharā] wistful, full of longings; —[karanā] to long/crave for; —[ṭapakanā] longing/craving to be manifest/apparent; —[nikalanā/pūrī honā] a longing/craving to find its fulfilment; —[nikālanā] to have it out; to see one’s longing/craving materialised; —[bākī rahanā] a longing/craving to remain unfulfilled.
