Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryhaḍasūna khaḍasūna (हडसून खडसून).—(An adverbial formation from haḍasaṇēṃ & khaḍasaṇēṃ) With sudden pulling and plucking, catching and jerking, pulling and again pulling. 2 With smart striking down &c. See under the verb haḍasaṇēṃ. Hence Forcibly, vigorously, with violence or emphasis;--accusing or charging home upon. 3 Peremptorily, positively, with rigorous requirement;--enjoining or charging. 4 Definitely, fixedly, decisively; as ha0 hēṃ sanaṅga dilhēṃ; ha0 hā ghōḍā vikalā or hā jinnasa āṇalā: also openly, outright and abroad, with all force and fullness of demonstration; as ha0 dārōḍā ghātalā: also broadly, bluntly, out and out, smack and flat; as ha0 javāba dilhā -uttara kēlēṃ -bōlalā &c. Note. The phrase (a formation in the truest idiom of the Maraṭhi) primarily pertains to clothiers and other dealers, employed by them, in concluding a sale of goods, to intimate that the bargain is fixed irreversibly. Hence its rendering may be:-By emphatic action (See haḍasaṇēṃ Sig. IV.) and by explicit declaration; by full act and by full speech; i. e. utterly, finitively, conclusively. And hence its further import of Strictly, straitly, strongly, impressively; and that of Plainly, roundly, plump, downright &c.
Marathi is an Indo-European language having over 70 million native speakers people in (predominantly) Maharashtra India. Marathi, like many other Indo-Aryan languages, evolved from early forms of Prakrit, which itself is a subset of Sanskrit, one of the most ancient languages of the world.
