- Earth (pṛthvī),

- Fire (tejas),
- Wind (vāyu),
- Space (ākāśa).
The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘five great elements’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
