Source: Google Books: Abhidharmakosa-Bhasya of VasubandhuDṛṣṭyupādāna (दृष्ट्युपादान) refers to the “afflicted views grasping” and represents one of the four graspings (upādāna), according to Dharmaśrī’s Abhidharmahṛdaya 86 and the Saṃyuktābhidharmahṛdaya 196, 200-3.—Accordingly, “Afflicted views grasping (dṛṣṭyupādāna) = afflicted views yoke (dṛṣṭiyoga), minus the over-esteeming of (such things as) morality and of certain types of spiritual practices (śīlavrataparāmarśa) = (12 x 3) - 6 = thirty real entities”.
