To be immersed (in business or study): to be plunged (in grief, care, anxiety). 3 fig. To be ruined, destroyed, blasted, lost--persons, crops, countries, towns, counsels, business, money. 4 To be lost; to pass away unproductively. Ex. samayāsa jara tumhī tēthēṃ pōṃhacalāṃ nāhīṃ tara tikaḍīla dakṣiṇā buḍēla āṇi gharacē kāmā- cā divasa hī buḍēla. 5 fig.
