Bhāṣābhūṣaṇa (भाषाभूषण) is the name of a work commented upon by Dalapatirāya and Baṃsīdhara in their Alaṃkāraratnākara (dealing with Poetics and Erotics), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The Alaṃkāraratnākara illustrates the later phase of the Rīti school, is a collaborative work on poetics by two inhabitants of Ahmedabad, Vaṃsīdhara and Dalapatirāya, who introduce themselves as such at the beginning. [...] It is a kind of large scale commentary on the Bhāṣābhūṣaṇa, which is recognized as authoritative on the figures of speech and on rasa.
